Project Overview
BusBuddy is a mobile application prototype designed to provide real-time updates and timetables for local public transportation routes. Developed in collaboration with the local transit agency LineeLecco, the app offers features such as schedule lookups, real-time GPS tracking of buses, and integration with OpenStreetMap APIs for an interactive map experience. The application was built as a proof-of-concept prototype and was never released publicly.
Key Features
- Real-time GPS tracking of buses
- Timetable and schedule lookups for public transit routes
- Interactive map visualization displaying bus stops and routes
Role in the Project
The project was carried out by a team of five members, with my primary focus on developing the user interface using Flutter and Dart. I also contributed to integrating the OpenStreetMap APIs and implementing the route visualization on the map.
